She finally returned home after eighteen days in hospital, from the point where she was close to death, and began her long journey back to health. Life was forever altered. Angelica, after a half-year of dialysis, and one year half year of treatment, was ready for the most significant operation of all - a kidney replacement. The mother of Angelica was the organ donor. Angelica Hale had a successful renal transplantation with her mother on the 13th of September, 2013. The surgery was performed at Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always thought of becoming an actor and singer, is still pursuing the dream.
